I've been doing something truly unbelievable for the past few days. I have been waking up at FIVE O'CLOCK IN THE MORNING... albeit against my will.

FIT AND PERFORMANCE
I have very small ears so I automatically swapped the ear tips for size small. They fit well into my ear canal, but remember that it is crucial to twist the buds correctly, as demonstrated above.
I find that the QuietOn can become uncomfortable throughout the night, since I am a side sleeper with very small ears and I use relatively hard pillows. They are made of hard plastic (plus the foam nib) so any pressing on my ear cartilage can be disruptive. Even earrings or firm earplugs can bother me!
Overall they feel like a regular earplug in the ear and can be wiped down gently if they get dusty or dirty. I really like the little holding/charging case and could definitely use these for air travel, working in a busy café, drowning out noise at work, etc. That's where the microphone button comes in handy - this feature allows you to hear sounds around you without needing to remove the buds - it is similar to the "transparency" feature on noise-cancelling headphones. Although I don't personally have snorers to worry about, these would be perfect for bringing to hotels since you never know what noisy air conditioning or neighbours you're going to have.
One flaw is the fact that you don't really know if the buds are fully charged, or have no battery. I guess you could try pressing the microphone button and if it doesn't work, you know they're dead.

THE VERDICT: ARE THEY WORTH IT?
Considering how I haven't come across any other comparable option to these, yes the QuietOn Noise-Cancelling Earbuds work and could definitely be a great option for those who need a more peaceful sleep or work environment. Although I do wish they also functioned as headphones, I can imagine that it probably is not good to sleep in a bluetooth device as it's sending signals through your head.
