I love Avon lipstick, they make some of my most favourite formulas on the market. Their vivid shades are especially lovely, and never come with strange flavours, smells or textures. When I received 3 shades of their Rouge Satin Moisture Lipstick and their new Mono Pop Eyeshadow Palette in Moon Brown, I knew that they were on to something amazing.

AVON Rouge Satin Moisture Lipstick $22
This moisturizing, colour-rich formula leaves a satin finish with great blendability. I typically wear lipstick sheared out a bit, like more of a stain. This method works especially well for the red and pink tones, and the nude shade I can wear in full pigment. With 20 shades to choose from, you have tons of options. This is part of The Face Shop brand so you can rely on that minimalistic, chic black packaging and skincare-worthy formulas that make both teens and mature women totally pleased. The formula is lightweight and claims to "hug lips like a second skin".

AVON Mono Pop Eyeshadow Palette $28
This shadow palette is everything I want in my lid life right now. Warm mattes, shimmery golden browns and a few pops of fiery orange. Available in two shades, I have Moon Brown and the alternative is Mood Coral. With 9 colours in each, the formula is smooth and blendable with a fabulous mix of matte and shimmer:AVON Mono Pop Eyeshadow Palette in Moon Brown |
Here's a simple daytime look I did using the mid-tone mattes as a base and blended into the crease, some gold on the lid and the shimmery browns in my outer corner:
Fabulous makeup bits that I'll be using daily moving into the warmer months.
