With my August birthday on the horizon, I'm always dreaming about gifts that I'd like to receive, and ones that I can give to my beauty-obsessed besties. Charlotte Tilbury's Daytime on the Go beauty set ($140) is honestly heaven in a pouch. Between its super full-coverage concealer, the satin-finish face powder, a world-class lipstick and some adorable fabric decals, you won't be disappointed.

I nearly jumped out of my chair when I got the chance to try Charlotte Tilbury's Daytime on the Go Face Kit which includes 4 of my must-have makeup bag items: concealer, powder, lipstick and a travel-sized brush. Not to mention the adorable pouch and embroidered patches that I quickly stuck onto my jean jacket:

For my kit, I chose her iconic Matte Revolution Lipstick in Pillow Talk, the Magic Away Concealer in 01 Fair, and the Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder in 01 Fair. This was also my first time using one of her makeup brushes, and I was very happy with the overall quality and product application.

| Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder in 01 Fair |
The Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder features ingredients to prevent excess shine and brighten complexions. The finish is silky smooth and the sleek compact is ideal to throw into your clutch or handbag. I find that this powder is best applied with a fluffy brush and dusted over the skin to set and mattify makeup.

I know that CT products are expensive, which is the reason why I didn't buy a bunch right off the bat. I'm happy with my drugstore staples, but I couldn't say no when my friend Julie at Mme Bonheur passed on her sample of the Color Chameleon in Amber Haze. Needless to say, I was completely hooked! This is the one shadow stick that lasts as an eyeliner or shadow throughout any sweaty workout or long day in the office. Here are some swatches of my OG items:

I've also been impressed with the Goddess Skin Clay Mask. It doesn't dry down to an uncomfortable finish - instead, it stays flexible and moisturizing, with ingredients to clear out skin evenly and brighten any dullness. It is not irritating, and provides a clean, fresh feeling.
I found the Unisex Healthy Glow to be very similar to Origins GinZing Tinted Moisturizer with colour-enhancing beads that burst with a light coverage tint to make the skin a bit more even. The Youth Glow Primer layered well under the Magic Foundation in 01 Fair, but I'm not crazy enough about either of these to buy in full size.
Charlotte Tilbury is quickly becoming my favourite makeup brand, and one that I would happily turn to if I could only have one for the rest of my life. Srsly. Let me know what Charlotte products you fall for!
