*Rave* REVIEW: Revlon Candid Foundation, Concealer and Powder

Revlon's PhotoReady Candid Collection of foundation, concealer and powder has been my first introduction to makeup that claims to protect the skin from aggressors like blue light, pollution and antioxidants. As someone who spends many hours in front of screens, I am onboard with this idea - whether it's truly effective or not. 

Although I can't speak to the efficiency of this blue light and pollution blocking (this is something that would simply be a benefit incurred with continued use over the years) I can speak to the results I've had with the makeup's wear-time and finish. My answer to this is, I LOVE IT.

Body Shop Haul! | Makeup for Summer 2019

I've been wearing makeup and skincare by The Body Shop for many, many years. The store nearest to my house has had a bunch of reduced makeup items for as little as $1, so I did some major shopping! I truly need none of this, but I'm always eager to test out interesting products on the market to share my thoughts with you.

AVON ANEW Hydra Fusion Sunscreen, Lip Balm & Beach Accessories

It's mid-August, and the hot summer rays are still in full effect. I've been looking for sunscreen products that are gentle on my skin, that don't burn my eyes, and also some cute accessories that can go along with me to the beach for a fun afternoon in the sun. Here are my current must-haves from AVON including the ANEW SPF 50 lotion, lip balm with SPF 15, an adorable beach bag and a *highly coveted* circular beach towel.

Best Long-Wearing Lipstick for Summer | Maybelline SuperStay Matte Ink in Heroine - Review

Liquid lipstick are very daunting. I've tried a few, mostly from NYX and Nars, none of which really stuck with me for long - no pun intended. The sticky, tacky, dried-glue-like finish of liquid lipsticks can be flat out nasty. Luckily, this lippie right here has truly topped the charts for me. Maybelline's SuperStay Matte Ink Liquid Lipstick in the shade Heroine is cheap and cheerful, and the colour is so unique. I adore the satin finish, and have been wearing it nonstop this summer!

What's In My Bag? | Summer 2019

Ever since I was little I've loved snooping through people's handbags. Mine is fully stocked at all times, just in case I need to stay somewhere overnight or I'm stuck in torrential downpour. You really never know!
