If there's one beauty treatment I won't pass on, it's doing my nails. I adore a little at-home mani, and I've been lusting over Essie's newest shades this summer. I have a big selection of favourites here, all of which are extremely flattering on the nails. I was most surprised by the opacity of these shades, most needing only 2 coats to achieve a streak-free application. Read on to see how I use these stunning polishes.

For #manimonday today I did a floral nail art design with "Bon Boy-Age" as the base. I love how it turned out! Long live summer and flowers.
These shades are all Gel Couture polishes as well, which have a funky twisted brush handle and an extra-wide applicator that makes painting larger nails a total breeze. I reviewed a few other Gel Couture shades in this post, where I also photographed the unique no-drip/easy-flow brush.
Here's a close-up of my floral nail art using nearly every shade mentioned in this post. I used a very thin eyeliner brush and a dotting tool to achieve this unique design.
Two shades I've been loving on the toes are "Set the Seam" from Reem Acra and "The Fuschia is Bright" from Summer 2018.
What are your favourite Essie shades?
