Last weekend my good friend Sylvie invited me to a lovely charitable event called "Spring Into Beauty", an afternoon of pampering and sweets with proceeds going to support women and children in need. I had such a lovely time mingling, getting some gorgeous henna, and even meeting the owner behind Ella's Botanicals.
I started off my afternoon with my first henna tattoo from Zain, the beautiful artist for Her Henna. It was such a pleasure speaking with Zain as she is passionate about social justice and equality, especially for women. See my finished design below, and check out her website here to learn more about Her Henna.

Among the great vendors at Spring Into Beauty, I had the pleasure of meeting the founder of Ella's Botanicals. Ella has created a beautiful array of bath and body products that are naturally fragranced and suitable for everyone in the family.
I've been seeing the brand popping up all over the place, both in the news and on sites such as Well.ca. It's always so nice to meet passionate entrepreneurs who give off the best positive vibes. I love what Ella does and I am thrilled to have picked up some lotions and soaps to share with friends and family, and of course to test out myself.
You can see all of Ella's natural products on her site linked here, and also in-store at The Big Carrot, Noah's, and select Whole Foods. I also look forward to visiting Ella's booth at The Toronto Designers Market beginning at the end of May.
Attending the 3rd annual Spring Into Beauty event was a lot of fun, and a very nice break from studying. Big thanks to Sylvie and Laurel for the invite.
Happy weekend!
xx
